"Time Together" was a semester-long project that my classmates Cherish Grimm, Ratko Radojcic and I undertook at the University of Missouri. We spent one September weekend at the reenactment of the Civil War battle in Lexington, MO, and then spent the rest of the semester putting together this multimedia piece. It is part of a larger project called Missouri's Civil War by grad student Clay Stalter. Interviewing Ken, Nate and Randy was very emotional for all of us, and we're so glad we were able to tell the McKees' story.

"Guitar Generation" was my capstone project for my undergrad degree in photojournalism at the University of Missouri. I set out to tell the story of young musicians and music enthusiasts. I think this project shows that no matter how different we all feel sometimes, music is what brings us together.

"Going Pro" was my semester project during my time as staff photographer for the Columbia Missourian. It won second place in the NPPA Multimedia Contest in the audio slideshow category for April 2011. I photographed Hannah and her horse Barney for several weeks leading up to the big rodeo.
